Jeanette Mokawem is a new artist who draws her inspiration from the surrealism masters Dali and Escher.

Born and raised in South Africa she moved to England in 2002 and has been working as a physiotherapist ever since.

Painting with oils and acrylics has been a passion of hers for more than 20 years. She has made paintings for friends and family and feels privileged to now be in a position to do it in a more professional capacity.

Recently she expanded her skillset to illustrating children's books and Rosy Ragdoll is her first attempt.

Her paintings are quirky, unusual and vibrantly colourful and she loves every moment spent creating them.

She lives in London with her husband and two beautiful daughters.
